Purchasing & Payment

How do I purchase a pattern?

  1. Select your pattern: Choose the design you’d like to buy and click Add to Cart.
  2. Review your Cart: Click the Cart icon in the upper right corner.
    • Important: If you remove any items or change quantities, you must click the “Update Cart” button to recalculate the total.
  3. Proceed to Checkout: When ready, click Proceed to Checkout.
  4. Fill in your details: Enter the required billing information and check the box to agree to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
  5. Choose your Payment Method:
    • PayPal: Select this to be redirected to the PayPal website to authorize your payment.
    • Debit or Credit Card: Select this to pay directly on our website. A secure form will appear instantly—simply enter your card details and confirm the purchase. No PayPal account is required!
  6. Download your files: After successful payment, you can download your patterns immediately from:
    • The “My Account → Downloads” section on our website.
    • The confirmation email sent to your inbox.

How do I pay with a credit or debit card (without a PayPal account)?

We have made it easier for you! You do NOT need a PayPal account to pay by card, and you no longer need to leave our website.
1. At the Checkout page, select the “Debit or Credit Card” option.
2. The card entry form will open right on the same page.
3. Enter your card details and billing address.
4. Click “Place Order” (or “Pay Now”) to complete the transaction securely.
5. You will stay on our website throughout the entire process—no guest account creation or redirects are necessary.

Downloading Your Files

How can I download my PDF pattern?

You have two options:

Option 1 — From Your Account

  1. Go to My Account.
  2. Click Downloads.
  3. Click the pattern name under the Download section.
  4. The file will download to your computer.

Option 2 — From Your Email

  1. Open your order confirmation email.
  2. Click the download link next to your file.
  3. The file will automatically download.

IMPORTANT
We strongly recommend downloading files on a desktop or laptop computer. Many mobile devices do not properly support file downloads.

I can’t find my download email.

Please:

You can always download your files from your account on our website.

Printing Your Pattern

How do I print the pattern correctly?

  1. Open the file using the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  2. Select File → Print.
  3. Under Page Sizing, choose Actual Size (100%).
  4. Print the first page only.
  5. Check the test square to ensure correct scaling.

If the size is incorrect, check your printer settings and disable any scaling options.

Returns & Refunds

Can I return or exchange a digital product?

Due to the digital nature of our products:

  • If the file has been downloaded → refunds are not possible.
  • If the file has NOT been downloaded → refunds may be possible within 14 days.

Pattern Usage & License

What is your pattern policy?

All patterns are for personal use only.

You may:
✔ Make and sell finished handmade items in small quantities
✔ Credit Swan Family Patterns in your product description

You may NOT:
✘ Copy the pattern
✘ Share the PDF file
✘ Resell or distribute the pattern
✘ Use for mass production

Technical Issues

I’m having trouble downloading my files.

If nothing happens when you click download:

  • Try using a different browser
  • Disable browser extensions
  • Clear your browser cache
  • Delete and re-download the file

If the file appears corrupted, delete it and download it again.
